5FSoftware will integrate FP Sign into its Collaboration Cloud for tax advisors and auditors. The digital signature of FP Mentana Claimsoft GmbH, a subsidiary of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG (FP), not only saves clients from having to appear extra personally for their own signature, but also facilitates any workflow whose progress depends on signatures.

FP Sign makes it possible to provide documents with a legally compliant electronic signature – up to the highest available signature level in accordance with the European Signature Ordinance eIDAS, the so-called qualified electronic signature. The spectrum ranges from the signature under business correspondence to the signature for tax returns or audit reports.

Important feature integrated into the cloud platform

For 5FSoftware, this collaboration is an important extension of the range of services. The special quality and security feature for users: The FP Sign signature process uses the data centers in Germany certified by the Federal Office for Security in Information Technology (BSI). This excludes data processing in unsafe third countries. This is essential for reliable compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). FP Sign is also eIDAS compliant and enables the legally required long-term archiving easily, quickly and above all securely.
